History of NRC
National Radio Cabs (NRC) was established in 1957 with a fleet of 12 cars. This has grown to almost 1000 vehicles (89 of which are wheelchair accessible, and 100 are people carriers, this includes mini-buses). NRC also supplies coaches as required. With this longevity of service provision (over 50 years in the business), NRC has been at the forefront of the taxi industry,
and is the largest taxi company in Ireland today.
NRC positioning as ‘thought leaders’ in the taxi industry has been paramount to its history of successful growth. And pivotal to this success has been its unparalleled investment in state-of-the-art technology and staff training.
Recent investment in a new purpose-built premises in James’s Street, Dublin, has enabled NRC to double the size of its call centre. NRC now boasts the most modern and sophisticated taxi call centre in Ireland.
NRC systems are continually monitored and updated to include the latest and best technologies. The most recent additions being a real-time on-line booking facility and electronic emailing of weekly, fortnightly, and monthly
reports and invoices. NRC’s technologies allow for scalability and adaptability to all clients’ needs and processes.
NRC’s customer care ethos runs throughout the whole company, from the call centre, drivers through to administrative staff. This has led to an enviable staff reputation for courtesy, reliability and efficiency.
